This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on KodStore (https://kodstore.com). Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a site. This English text is provided for convenience; in case of any inconsistency the Turkish version prevails.
1. Essential cookies
These are needed for the site to work, so your consent is not asked. If you block them in your browser, sign-in, cart and checkout will not work.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mp_session | Session, cart and form security | Until the browser is closed; expires after 2 hours of inactivity |
| mp_remember | Keeps you signed in if you tick "Remember me" | 30 days |
| kod_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
2. Preference cookies
These remember the language and currency you choose and are only set when you make a choice.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| kod_locale | Language preference | 1 year |
| kod_currency | Currency preference | 1 year |
Your light/dark theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage and is never sent to the server.
3. Analytics cookies
Only if visit measurement is enabled on the site and you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, Google Analytics (Google LLC) cookies (_ga, _ga_…) are used. They measure statistics such as the number of visits and page usage, and the data is transferred to Google servers abroad. If you do not consent they are not loaded; if you withdraw consent they are deleted.
4. Checkout window (Paddle)
When you choose to pay by card, Paddle's checkout window (Paddle.js) is loaded on the payment page. Paddle may use cookies and similar technologies on its own domain to secure the payment and prevent fraud; these are necessary for the payment and are governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy. Paddle.js is not loaded on any other page of the site. Fonts are served from our own server; no request goes to a third party for them.
5. Managing your choices
You can change your cookie choice with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page (shown while measurement is enabled). You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Details on how your personal data is processed are in the Privacy Policy. Questions: info@kodstore.com.
